Terms of service

These terms govern your purchase and use of The Comeback and your use of this store. By buying, downloading or using the product, you agree to them.

1. Who you are dealing with

This store is operated by JOYAL JOY, registered as Joyal E-commerce and trading as The Next Turn (GSTIN: 32BJWPJ7848F1ZP). Contact: support@thenextturn.com.

2. What you are buying

You are buying a licence to use one copy of a digital document — not ownership of it, and not any transfer of copyright. The product is a PDF with live form fields, currently at Version 7, 2026.

3. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence for one named purchaser. Under it, you may:

  • download and keep your copy;
  • type into it, save it and use it for your own purposes;
  • print it, in whole or in part, and write on it by hand;
  • keep it on your own devices for your own access.

You may not:

  • copy, forward, share, email, upload, host or otherwise distribute the file or any part of it;
  • resell, licence, rent or lend it;
  • adapt, translate, excerpt or create derivative works from it;
  • teach from it, coach from it or run any paid or unpaid programme based on it;
  • remove, obscure or alter any copyright, licence or ownership notice inside it;
  • use it, or any part of it, to train or fine-tune a machine learning model.

4. Enforcement of the licence

We may suspend or terminate the licence of any account whose copy is distributed in breach of these terms, without refund, and we reserve all remedies available to us under copyright law.

5. No guarantee of any outcome

This is important, so it is said plainly. The Comeback does not promise, guarantee or imply that you will get a job, an interview, a callback, a salary, a promotion or any other result. It is a method and a set of instruments. Whether you return to work depends on your field, your city, your circumstances and a labour market none of us control.

Nothing on this store, in the product, or in any communication from us should be read as a placement guarantee or a performance promise. Any illustrative figure, sample CV or example inside the product is explicitly labelled as invented and is there to demonstrate a method, not to predict your result.

6. Not professional advice

The product is general educational material. It is not legal, financial, tax, medical, psychological or career-counselling advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional who knows your situation. The summary of Indian employment law it contains is a plain-language overview for orientation only; verify anything that matters with a lawyer.

7. Third parties

The product names third-party programmes, platforms and resources as research starting points. Naming them is not endorsement, we have no commercial relationship with them, and we cannot vouch for them. Verify anything before you act on it.

The fraud-prevention chapter reduces risk. It cannot eliminate it. Judgement remains yours.

8. Price, tax and payment

Prices are in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of GST. Payment is taken through our gateway by UPI, RuPay, Visa, Mastercard or net banking. Your order is complete only when payment is confirmed.

9. Delivery

Delivery is by download link sent to the email address given at checkout, automatically, on payment confirmation. Nothing is physically shipped. It is your responsibility to give a working email address; if the link does not arrive, check your spam folder and then write to us and we will resend it.

10. Refunds

We do not offer refunds, because the complete file is delivered instantly. The full reasoning, and the list of delivery failures we will always put right at no cost, is set out in our Refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Updates (a bonus, not a subscription)

The product is dated and version-numbered, and we actively keep it current as Indian hiring practice, CTC structures and job-fraud patterns change. When we publish a revised edition, existing purchasers receive it at no extra cost.

This is a bonus we extend voluntarily. It is not a subscription, it is not part of the price you pay, and it does not create an obligation on us to publish any particular number of future editions or to do so on any timetable. Your purchase is of Version 7, 2026, as it exists on the day you buy it.

12. Intellectual property

All content in the product and on this store — text, frameworks, worksheets, scripts, the Five Locks framework, names, logos and design — belongs to The Next Turn or is used with permission, and is protected by Indian and international copyright law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or connected with the product or this store, on any basis, is limited to the amount you actually paid for it.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of income, loss of opportunity, loss of data or loss of profit, however caused. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Acceptable use of this store

Do not attempt to breach its security, scrape it, disrupt it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may refuse service or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse.

15. Termination

Your licence ends immediately if you breach these terms in a material way — in particular the distribution restrictions in clause 3. On termination you must stop using the product and delete your copies. No refund is due.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published here at the time of your purchase is the one that governs that purchase.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Kerala, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any consumer rights you have to bring proceedings elsewhere.
