  • A 30-item diagnostic that tells you which of the five locks is actually holding you — in about twenty minutes.
  • Six household negotiation scripts including the one for a mother-in-law, and a written agreement to sign.
  • A calculator that settles it — what the job really pays after childcare, commute, help and tax, for month one and across 36 months.
  • Two complete CV rewrites before and after, in full, with nothing invented, plus a translation table for unpaid work.
  • Fifteen 21-day proof projects each ending in something you can send to a hiring manager — not a certificate.
  • A six-minute fraud protocol for checking whether a job offer is real, with the twelve red flags and the 1930 helpline.
  • A salary formula and CTC decoder with four negotiation scripts and five things never to say.
  • Four chapters on staying — the first six months back, because leaving again within a year is the part nobody plans for.

29 worksheets, every one a live form

  4. 06 The Household Agreement— six conversations with six scripts: yourself, your husband, your mother-in-law, your children, your parents, the extended family. Plus a written agreement to sign.
  5. 07 The Guilt Protocol— a 14-day log separating your own guilt from imported guilt, and four responses.
  1. 08 The 4C Gap Story— Cause, Content, Currency, Commitment. A 25-second answer to “why did you stop?”, with twelve worked examples and the five ways the answer gets ruined.

  1. 11 The 21-Day Proof Project— fifteen project briefs by function, each producing something you can send to a hiring manager.
  2. 12 The Skill Refresh Map— what actually changed in ten functions while you were away, and a five-item refresh list for each.
  3. 13 The Credential Decision Tree— six questions to run before paying for any course, and nine warning signs in education selling. This chapter tells you when not to buy something.

  6. 19 Flexible, Remote and Bridge Work— what is real and what it pays, the part-time trap, and a freelance rate card.
  7. 20 The Sunday Review— a 30-minute weekly routine and a funnel diagnosis table that finds the single leak.

  1. 25 The First 90 Days Back— a 30-60-90 plan to share with your manager in week one, and the over-proving trap.
  2. 26 The Day-30 Renegotiation— the most-skipped step in the book and the most common cause of a second exit.
  3. 27 Boundaries and the Burnout Early-Warning List— six boundaries to set in month one, a ten-item monthly check, and the rule about never resigning on a bad Tuesday.

Version 7 · 2026

This is the seventh edition. Six of them taught me what to cut.

Most digital products are written once and sold until they stop selling. This one is dated, numbered and rewritten — because Indian hiring, Indian CTC structures and the fraud patterns aimed at women looking for work all move, and a document that does not move with them quietly becomes wrong.

Future editions are yours as a bonus. Indian hiring moves, CTC structures change, and the fraud patterns aimed at women looking for work change faster than either. We watch for it and revise the document.

You are not buying a static file. When a new edition is published, log into your account and download it — no extra cost, nothing to chase, nothing emailed.

V1

The five locks get named

A short guide written for one person who was stuck. The framework existed; almost nothing else did.

V2

It stops being a guide

Reading it changed nothing, so the advice was replaced with worksheets. The first version anyone actually finished.

V3

Home becomes lock one

The household section grew from one page into five chapters, because that is where nearly every stalled comeback was actually stuck.

V4

The toolkit arrives

Trackers, the 90-day calendar, the debrief sheets. Ninety days stopped needing a second notebook.

V5

Every worksheet becomes a live form

Printing was the biggest drop-off point. So all 2,218 fields were made typeable — on a phone, in the ten minutes before school pick-up.

V6

Protecting the money

The Scam Shield and the Credential Decision Tree were added — two chapters whose whole job is to stop you spending money, including on courses you do not need.

V7 · 2026 · current

The edition you are buying

122 pages, 28 chapters, 29 worksheets, nine instruments. Track C rewritten as a route rather than a footnote, the No-Support Edition, and the 30-day compressed sprint for when income is urgent.

Bought it at eleven at night, had it by ten past

Paid by UPI, the link came through almost immediately, and I was typing into the first worksheet before I went to bed. No waiting, no courier, no follow-up email needed.

Sarita Dewan Delhi NCR Version 7
4.9

Two thousand boxes and they all work

I was sceptical that a PDF could really be fillable. Every shaded box takes typing and it saves into my copy. I have filled maybe sixty per cent of it so far.

Vaishali Kadam Mumbai Version 7
5.0

I bought this for my wife

She had been quiet about it for two years. I did not know how to help. Part One is written for the conversation we had never actually had. Worth every rupee.

Ramesh Iyer Bengaluru Version 7
4.8

The diagnostic is the whole thing

Thirty items, scored out of ninety, and it tells you which of the five locks is holding you. Mine was the first one. I would have guessed the third.

Pratibha Sinha Patna Version 7
4.7

Printed it and wrote by hand

I am not a screen person. It is laid out properly for printing, the boxes are big enough to write in, and nothing runs off the page.

Ujjwala Bhagat Nagpur Version 6
5.0

The scam shield saved me money

I had a work-from-home offer that wanted a registration fee. Ran the six-minute check. Six checks, six failures. That page paid for the whole book in one evening.

Roshni Mathew Kochi Version 7
4.6

Honest about what it is not

There is a page near the front that says plainly it cannot promise you a role. I nearly did not buy because of it. I bought because of it.

Devika Chandran Chennai Version 7
4.9

Forty names, three tiers

Reactivating a network I had let go cold felt impossible until it was broken into a list and a five-message sequence that never asks for a job first.

Ankita Raut Pune Version 7
4.8

My track was C and it stung, usefully

Eight years out and a degree I never used. The instruction is to ignore the old designation entirely and build from the translation table. That was the permission I needed.

Shilpa Menon Thiruvananthapuram Version 7
5.0

The care grid is ruthless

Four certainties: the child falls ill, the help quits, a wedding week, exam season. Our plan failed three of them. Better to find that out on paper.

Bhavani Rao Vijayawada Version 7
4.4

Good. The file is large

Roughly four megabytes and it takes a moment to open on an older phone. Once it is open it is fine. Worth flagging if your phone is slow.

Nirmala Joshi Nashik Version 5
4.9

Six household scripts, written out

Not themes. Not talking points. Actual sentences, including the one for a mother-in-law and the one for the relative who asks what people will say.

Aparna Ghosh Kolkata Version 7
5.0

Version seven, and you can tell

I bought an earlier edition from a friend's recommendation and this one is noticeably tighter. The update came to me free, which I did not expect.

Sheetal Chauhan Jaipur Version 6
4.7

Two complete CV rewrites

Before and after, in full, with nothing invented. Seeing the whole document twice is more useful than any list of tips I have read.

Girija Naidu Hyderabad Version 7
4.8

The weekly tracker

Thirteen rows, filled every Sunday, and a page on how to read your own tracker. It turned a shapeless ninety days into something with edges.

Poonam Malhotra Ludhiana Version 7
5.0

It starts at home, which is correct

I have read four books on returning to work. All four started with the résumé. Every one of them skipped the part that actually stops us.

Latha Krishnamurthy Mysuru Version 7
4.6

Interview kit is properly built

Thirty questions in five groups, each with a framework, and a close for the final round. I rehearsed from it rather than from a list on the internet.

Mitali Sen Guwahati Version 7
4.5

Wanted a spreadsheet version

The calculators work inside the PDF and that is clever. I would still have liked the salary maths as a sheet I could play with.

Kirti Ambani Ahmedabad Version 7
4.9

Fifteen people, one week

The seven-day profile rebuild tells you exactly who to reconnect with and what to say. I had been putting that off for eleven months.

Sudha Narayanan Coimbatore Version 7
5.0

Chapter thirteen talked me out of a course

I was two clicks from paying sixty thousand rupees. Six questions and nine warning signs later, I did not. That is the most useful thing a book has ever done for me.

Anamika Verma Lucknow Version 7
4.8

Bought it for my daughter

She finished her degree, married, and then the years went by. The dignity in how Track C is written is what made me send it to her.

Jagdish Kulkarni Pune Version 7
4.7

The offer comparison sheet

Two columns, side by side, with the things that are easy to forget. I used it and the second offer was not actually the better one.

Swapna Reddy Warangal Version 4
5.0

Boundaries chapter is the underrated one

Six boundaries to set in month one, a ten-item monthly check, and a rule about never resigning on a bad Tuesday. I wish I had read that eleven years ago.

Rukmini Desai Vadodara Version 7
4.9

The four Cs

A twenty-five second answer to why you stopped, built out of four parts, with twelve worked examples across different professions. Mine took three attempts and then it was done.

Fatima Rizvi Bhopal Version 7
4.8

Everything is numbered

Twenty-nine worksheets, numbered to the chapter they belong to. When you come back after a gap of a week you know exactly where you were.

Vandana Shetty Mangaluru Version 7
4.6

A sensible amount of law

Chapter twenty-two summarises what Indian law does and does not protect, plainly, with a note to check anything serious properly. No scaremongering.

Indira Mahapatra Bhubaneswar Version 7
5.0

It is a workbook, genuinely

I have bought PDFs before that were a blog post with a cover. This is a hundred and twenty-two pages of things to do, and almost all of it is work you perform.

Chitra Balan Madurai Version 7
4.3

Strong content, I wanted more worked examples

The twelve gap-story examples are excellent. I would have taken twenty. Everything else is more than complete.

Renuka Pawar Thane Version 7
4.9

The replacement cost number

Converting a week of unpaid work into a monthly rupee figure is the single most persuasive page in the book, and it is on page eleven or so.

Asha Kurien Thrissur Version 7
5.0

No fake countdown, no fake stock

Nothing on the page shouted at me. No timer, no two-seats-left. After months of being sold to, that alone made me trust it.

Neelima Rangan Visakhapatnam Version 7
4.7

The refresh map

What actually changed in ten functions while you were away, and a five-item list for each. It stopped me from trying to relearn everything at once.

Snigdha Bora Dibrugarh Version 7
4.8

Follow-ups are already dated

Day seven and day twenty-one, pre-printed into the tracker. Such a small thing, and it is the difference between a system and a list.

Malini Sundararajan Chennai Version 5
5.0

Read the setup page first

Thirty seconds at the front of the file explains how to type into it on Android. I skipped it, struggled, went back, and then it was perfect.

Hetal Modi Surat Version 7
4.9

The forty-company list, in four passes

Built ten at a time, plus how to find the person who actually decides. That last part is what I had never worked out on my own.

Archana Godbole Pimpri-Chinchwad Version 7
4.4

Very good, a bit relentless

It is a demanding document. That is fair, it says so, but do not buy it on a week when you have nothing left. I put it down for a fortnight.

Mridula Kashyap Dehradun Version 7
5.0

Nothing else covers staying

Four chapters on the first hundred and eighty days. Leaving again within a year is apparently the common ending and I had never once seen it discussed.

Saroja Pillai Kollam Version 7
4.6

Clean, serious, no clutter

Indigo and marigold, one column, nothing flashing. It reads like a proper document rather than a marketing asset.

Bindu Agarwal Kanpur Version 7
4.8

The guilt chapter is not soft

Fourteen days of logging, then separating what is yours from what was handed to you, and four responses. It routes you to real help where that is the right answer.

Shraddha Limaye Nagpur Version 7
5.0

Sixty pages in and I stopped applying blindly

The three-channel rule with a written weekly quota replaced what I had been doing, which was refreshing one portal and feeling bad.

Yamini Bhardwaj Gurugram Version 7
4.7

Every figure is labelled illustrative

The example salaries and the sample CVs are all explicitly marked as invented. I noticed, and it is why I believed the rest.

Kusum Yadav Agra Version 7
4.9

A master checklist at the back

Forty-four items across all six parts. When I lose the thread I open that page and find my place in under a minute.

Tara Menon Bengaluru Version 7
4.0

Content is strong, I struggled on iPhone

It works in Files for me now but took some fiddling. Acrobat was the fix. Four stars for the friction, not the material.

Sunita Bhoite Solapur Version 6
5.0

Six minutes, six checks

The employer verification protocol is laid out as a numbered routine you can run before replying to anything. I now run it on every message I get.

Rajalakshmi Iyer Tiruchirappalli Version 7
4.8

The day-thirty conversation

Renegotiating at day thirty, before the extra work silently becomes your job. Described as the most-skipped step, and I can see exactly why it is.

Shubha Joshi Belagavi Version 7
4.5

Assumes a city, mostly

It is upfront that it is written for tier one and two. Living somewhere smaller I adapted a few chapters. The framework still held.

Nandita Barua Shillong Version 7
5.0

My five STAR stories, written down

Built out of a career break rather than around it. Having five of them finished and saved meant I stopped improvising under pressure.

Geeta Ramamurthy Salem Version 7
4.9

The achievements file

A page you keep adding to for twelve months. It is framed as a counterweight, and after a long stretch of silence that is exactly what it is.

Purnima Das Kolkata Version 7
3.9

Honest review: good book, slow start

Part One is the strongest section and it is also the hardest to begin. I nearly gave up in week two. I am glad I did not, but it was close.

Vimala Chandrasekar Erode Version 3
4.7

Screening them, not just being screened

Twelve questions to ask in the last ten minutes and five things to get in writing before signing. I had been treating interviews as one-way.

Alpana Trivedi Rajkot Version 7
5.0

The whole thing fits in one file

A hundred and five application rows, six debrief sheets, forty-eight evidence lines, thirteen tracker weeks. Ninety days and I never needed a second document.

Kamakshi Subramanian Chennai Version 7

A selection of reviews is shown here rather than the full list, to keep the page readable. Reviews are edited only for length, and the edition each buyer started on is shown beside their name.

Before you buy

What this will not do — said plainly, before you pay

You should know the limits before you spend anything, not after. None of this is hedging — it is the same honesty that runs through the book itself.

  • It will not get you a job, an interview or a salary. No document can — and anyone promising that is selling you something worse than this. What it removes is the guessing.
  • There is no coaching, no call, no group and no WhatsApp community. You work through it on your own.
  • It is not legal, financial, tax, medical or career-counselling advice, and every figure and sample CV inside it is explicitly labelled as illustrative and invented.
  • It cannot eliminate job fraud. Chapter 18 reduces the risk substantially; it does not remove it.
  • It asks for six to eight hours a week for ninety days. If that is not realistic right now, there is a 30-day compressed sprint inside for exactly that situation.
  • It assumes India, and tier 1 and tier 2 cities in particular. Outside that, half of what makes it specific stops applying.
  • There are no refunds, because the complete file reaches you the moment you pay. Everything you need to judge it is on this page before you spend anything.

What it does do is name the step you are actually failing at, and hand you the exact instrument for it. That is the whole offer.

Questions

Before you buy

Usually inside a minute. The download link is emailed automatically the moment Razorpay confirms payment. If nothing has arrived after ten minutes, check your spam folder, then email us the address you paid with and we will resend it by hand.

Yes, with one thing to know. On Android, open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader (free) — Google Drive's built-in preview will show the file but will not save typing. On iPhone and iPad, the Files app works on most recent versions, with Acrobat Reader as a fallback. The setup page at the front of the file covers this in about thirty seconds.

It is your copy, licensed to you for personal use. You may keep it, type into it, save it and print it, and write on it by hand. You may not forward, upload, resell, adapt or teach from it.

Yes. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay — there is nothing added at the last step.

Yes, and it is the option we would recommend. UPI, RuPay, Visa, Mastercard and net banking all work through Razorpay. UPI succeeds more reliably than cards in India, and a failed payment is the most common reason a purchase does not complete.

Because the complete 122-page file is in your hands the instant you pay — there is nothing to give back. Rather than offer a refund we cannot honour sensibly, the entire contents page, the technical specification, the three tracks and an honest list of who this is not for are all published on this page, before you spend anything.

A broken link or a file that will not open is not a refund question. Write to us and we will fix it.

No. The product is dated and version-numbered, and we actively keep it current — you are buying Version 7, 2026. When we publish a revision, the file on your account is replaced with the new one as a bonus, at no extra cost. Log in whenever you like and download the latest edition.

Email is the only support channel, and it is a real inbox. Write to support@thenextturn.com and a person will reply, usually within one working day, Monday to Saturday.

Something not answered here? Write to support@thenextturn.com and you will get a straight answer from a person, usually within one working day.

Ninety days, five locks, one door

You don't need more courage. You need a checklist.

It will not find you a role — nothing can promise that. It will tell you which of the five locks is actually holding you, and hand you the exact instrument for it.
